Lazydays Rv Center - They will promise anything to get a deal
Just Buyer Beware! We purchased a used Motorhome from Lazydays and boy was it a mistake.
They will promise you anything to make a deal. I overhead one Sales Manager tell a Salesman "promise them anything, just get the deal. We will deal with the promise later". The sales process was great but once we agreed to the price, things went down hill.
We settled on the coach on January 30, 2017. However, they informed us that the coach wouldn't be ready for a day or two. The one or two days turned into three (3) weeks. Meanwhile, we are paying for a sight in Tampa at 65.90 a night, which the Salesman (CHARLES Kessock) would reimburse us.
To this date we haven't received their check. Charles told us numerous times that they have done a lot of work to this unit to bring it up to like new. He and the technician told us several times that they put new tires in the unit. We found out later that the tires are seven (7) years old.
They also agreed to fix the awning which they said was fixed. It wasn't fixed and they have made no effort to make the repairs. When we arrived home in Tennessee from Tampa we dropped the coach off at a local dealership as we were having a Hesitation when driving over 40 miles per hour. While the coach was there, the dealer did a courtesy safety inspection which they offered at no cost.
They are the ones who informed us the tires were 7 years old and not new. They also informed us that the unit was unsafe to drive as the front end (tie rod's, bushings, etc. Was completely worn out and needs to be replaced. LAZYDAYS allowed us to drive this unit from Tampa to Gatlinburg in a unsafe unit.
Apparently they didn't do the safety check as they told us they did.
As I mentioned the sales process was great, however what we learned is they will say anything and make promises but have no intentions in living up to their promises.Just Beware, get everything in writing and signed by a Manager.
